Parrish Family Farm

Montrose, PA

Parrish Family Farm started in 2012 when Guy decided he’d miss being around and taking care of livestock. Wanting to get a few beef cows to raise for freezer beef, he started by purchasing a few bred cows which has multiplied into a herd of around 80!

He started filling the pasture with red and black angus and then found that he appreciated the temperament of the Hereford breed, and began adding more to his herd. At the request of his wife he has purchased a few white park for variety. He enjoys the whole process of feeding and caring for livestock. From watching newborn calves grow to planting crops and making hay. He wants to raise healthy and quality beef for local customers to be able to feed their families.

Burke Farms

Auburn, PA

Burke Farms is a fourth-generation family farm located in Auburn, PA. In 1990, after graduating high school, Bill took over the farm from his grandfather, working closely with him for guidance and support. He spent 15 years milking cows before transitioning to crop farming after selling the herd.

Missing the joy of raising animals, in 2014 Bill and Becky purchased their first herd of Black Angus cattle. Since then, they have grown the farm into what it is today, producing the highest-quality products while holding themselves to the highest standards.

Their herd size varies from 125 to over 200 head, and they grow all of our own feed, purchasing very little grain. At Burke Farms, they are proud to combine generations of experience with a commitment to excellence in every aspect of our operation.

Tague Hill Farms

Tunkhannock, PA

Tague Hill Farms was originally started by Stanley Tague, Neil’s grandfather in 1920. He acquired the farm from family and began raising dairy cattle. It remained a dairy operation under the care of Neil’s father, Milton Tague, until 1990.

After a few years of renting it out, Neil decided to return to farming and raise beef cattle, focusing on Polled Herefords. Jill, Neil’s Daughter-in-Law, began helping on the farm when Ferdinand was born in 2016, and has been working full-time as the herdswoman since 2018. The Tagues have a strong passion to care for the animals and giving them the best life.

Their animals are pasture-raised from birth and are completely antibiotic-free. Tagu Hill Farms maintains a herd of 50 cattle, focusing on raising high-quality beef for their local customers.
